You can easily store longer items like fishing rods and skis in the A4’s back seat because of its 40/20/40 split. Like many entry-luxury sedans, the Audi A4 has sufficient room for passengers but lacks real trunk capacity; the A4 Allroad wagon is the way to go if you need a lot of cargo room.

The center display of the A4’s infotainment system is a 10.1-inch touchscreen with high-definition graphics. All A4 45 vehicles will have access to myAudi’s remote start capabilities by 2027.

The Navigation package is available as an optional extra on the Prestige trim level, but it is also available on the Premium Plus level for all A4 vehicles. As part of the upgraded adaptive cruise control technology, this bundle now includes traffic sign recognition.

A plethora of other features are standard, including two USB ports, voice command, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. In addition to SiriusXM satellite radio and built-in Wi-Fi, some of the various option packages offer a more powerful Bang & Olufsen audio system with 19 speakers. Virtual Cockpit is Audi’s excellent digital gauge display; getting it is highly recommended, but not necessary.

Audi offers two distinct strengths for the A4: 40 and 45. The 40 produces 201 hp, while the 45 boosts it to 261. We were hoping for a six-speed manual transmission, but the sole option is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Although it doesn’t set the standard for its class, the Audi A4 is a quick handler thanks to its accurate steering, controlled body motions, and excellent roadholding. Equally remarkable is its damping, which achieves balanced outcomes in every circumstance by automatically balancing comfort and swift responses. The steering feel, an important feature in a sports sedan, is muted when cruising on the highway or at lower speeds. Still, the steering takes on a magically communicative aspect as you guide the vehicle around twisty roads.

Our A4 45 sped up from 0 to 60 mph in a quick 4.8 seconds, and the automated gearbox changed gears quickly and efficiently.
